revise/revisar is a costume installation that dives into different aspects of (my) identity. It is a wild and over-the-top exploration into the realm of camp in garment and costume design. This installation is a narrative of transformation and revisions in identity. It is an intertwining story of gender and my Guatemalan and Mayan heritage. Ultimately, it is a story of dueling identities, taking the form of the Quetzal and Ornate Hawk-Eagle, colliding to become a whole.
